Today I ventured into the path of the famous bike race Nosellari which takes place every year in late August. For me the starting point is always the car park above the town Slaughenaufi Bertoldi Lavarone plateau. From here with 4 switchbacks uphill Nosellari crosses the route of the bike about 2 / 3 from the start, so we are already on the descent towards the finish. The descent is at times quite demanding and technical, often punctuated by a few uphill tear in the muscles that makes staying warm. Today, the ground conditions were particularly complicated by heavy rains came down yesterday that made it slippery and dangerously slippery everything that is not wrought by the sun, and in these woods for 90% of the route. Once you reach the lake Lavarone real ascent begins with the stroke of significant slope. From here you climb up on top of the hill and then do a magnificent stretch of slight slope in the woods where I have three deer crossed the road, mom with two children, a show just 10 meters from me. The time to open the pack to take the camera and had already disappeared into the woods.
I managed to walk about 20 of total 30 km of the race track, then I had to stop path because it was late and lunchtime loomed. The other third of course I will next time, but roughly retraces part of the tour made on August 9.
To underline the ease in following the path that is always indicated by the tables at every turn. Getting lost is impossible, but a map or a GPS in your pocket never do evil.
Of particular interest is the strong Belvedere which is located along the path that is worth a visit inside.
